Visuals Reel

Documentary, commercial, motion graphics, product - it’s all fair game. Here’s three minutes of a variety of projects over the years.

Sketching the Future

A 45-minute film diving inside the mind of one of the world’s most prolific endurance and mountain athletes, Kilian Jornet. Sketching the Future investigates why Kilian chose to leave his career long sponsor, Salomon, and start a new project: NNormal.

You have more to give, Doug

The short film, You have more to give, Doug was commissioned in 2020 by the Trail Running Film Fest to explore the ultrarunning legacy of a soft spoken man living in Bellingham, WA named Doug McKeever. Among being part of the first wave of American ultrarunning, Doug pioneered routes in the Cascade Mountains of Washington including the first known traverse of the remote Picket Range for an early USGS geological survey that resulted in the creation of North Cascades National Park. Full film upon request.

Territory Run Camp

A weekend of trail running in one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in the United States, the North Cascades. In Fall of 2019 I was asked by Territory Run Co. and Aspire Adventure Running to create content at the second annual North Cascades Run Camp. Here’s a quick glimpse into four days of mountain running, good food, and great people.

Day Light

A short film about a moment in the mountains.

Yellow

For a short time in the Cascades, a colorful phenomenon takes hold of the mountain hillsides and attracts hikers from both near and far. A brief ode to the Larch.

François D'Haene vs Washington for Salomon

French Ultrarunner Francois D’Haene took on Washington’s section of the PCT in early October 2019 - I was asked to be part of the team filming and photographing him through the remote sections of the trail while he made his attempt. Full film coming next year, in the meantime, here is a brief highlight reel.

Motion Graphics Reel

A short collection of various motion graphics projects over the years.

Education Across Boarders

Fellow videographer, Darius Escandar and I teamed up with Seattle based non-profit Education Across Boarders to document the work they do annually in two communities of the Dominican Republic. Here is the first installment in a series of varying pieces.

Maryhill Windwalk

I was asked to come down to scenic Goldendale, WA to shoot daily recap footage of downhill skateboard race, Maryhill Windwalk. With the assistance of videographer Jake Tull, we shot for three days and released a video each morning.
